After a few month of binge eating and indulging in anything in sight, it’s about time we get real about the situation– pants no longer fit. As a result, we decided it was time we took serious action and committed to a health challenge– a 30-day no carb challenge.
Given our weakness is carbs, predominantly pizza, chips and Starbucks Bean and Quinoa wraps, we decided we’d cut out simple carbs and some complex carbs out of our diet for the next 30-days (eek!). We’ll be focusing on eating clean food, with an emphasis on lean protein, healthy fats, and veggies. Based on the honour system, if one of us slips up, we owe the other $10.
